Abstract

The study is focused on the problem of existence of prototype form (replicator) for development of new psychological structures relevant to subject fields newly acquiring by individual. There were proposed theoretical bases for hypothesis concerning the principle of self-replication of psychological structures. Self-replicating psychological structure serves as a prototype in generation of newly formed psychological structures. The structure-replicator develops intravitally as a neoforming product of interaction between individual and defined institutionalized subject fields, its organization corresponds to genetic prerequisites and is not inheritable biologically. The study was intended to compare organizations of psychological structures passed diverse trajectories of differentiation in course of acquiring of competence related two different subject fields in terms of heterogeneous semantic network with planar/non-planar, scale-free/scaled, fractal/non-fractal topology, and to correlate formal characteristics of the psychological structures with individual-psychological properties. Participants of the study were 158 Ss: 118 – from population sample, 40 Ss were outpatients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Ss acquired competence in two subject fields: “Chess Knight Move” (problem solving of 48 tasks) and strategic game of two partners “Tic-Tac-Toe on the board of 15×15”. Ss fulfilled “Spatial Orientation Test” and “Mental Rotation Test”, they also were asked to fill questionnaires “Motivational Structure of Personality” and “Self-Regulation Style”.
