Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of some features of natural ecosystems that have not experienced human influence. On the example of steppes it is shown that the processes of formation of natural men-changed ecosystems of past and modern epochs are very similar. We analyze the essential conditions for the sustainable functioning of existing ecosys-tems. Considering these conditions, it becomes obvious that most natural ecosystems have more or less anthropogenic features. In this regard, the authors point the necessity to clarify some principles of the environmental strategy.
