Abstract

The article gives a concise definition of the disciplinary status of the social philosophy of science and the specifics of the problems solved in it. They are represented both in terms of the organization of interdisciplinary interaction, and in terms of their own philosophical content. The author considers the emergence of the social philosophy of science as a natural consequence of the process of social context research, in which the development of science is carried out.
