The paradoxes of labour productivity

The paper investigates the peculiarities of comprehension, measurement and estimation of labour productivity role in our days. The global trend of slowing productivity growth with some cases of its reduction, as well as an increase in the contribution of fixed capital to GDP are noted. The author proposes an accelerated renovation of fixed capital as an effective means of labour productivity rise.
