Формы репрезентации монарха в ирландских придворных одах в период правления королевы Анны Стюарт

В данной статье проводится анализ форм репрезентации монарха в ирландских придворных одах в 1702–1714 гг. Ирландия являлась частью британской композитарной монархии, в большой мере перенявшей политическое устройство метрополии. К 1702 г. ирландский парламент постепенно превращался в регулярный институт, шло развитие партийной системы по английскому образцу. Для борьбы с партиями в Англии королева Анна широко использовала церемониал и театр власти, включая собственную репрезентацию. В Ирландии же из-за личного отсутствия монарха репрезентация королевы была ограниченной. Одной из главных ее форм стали оды на дни рождения Анны Стюарт.

В Ирландии королеву представлял лорд-лейтенант, но зачастую контроль за написанием од был отдан в руки ирландских лордов-судей, являвшихся членами парламентских партий. Поэтому образ королевы Анны в Ирландии активно использовал-ся для поддержки политики той или иной партии, даже если сама королева выступала ее противником. Образ королевы Анны во всех одах был пассивным из-за ее подагры и невозможности лично возглавлять войска во время Войны за испанское наследство, а потому обратить образ королевы на поддержку политики той или иной партии не составляло большого труда. Так, в одах 1709 и 1710 гг. образ королевы преподнесен так, что выражает поддержку вигов в их военной политике; в 1711–1714 гг. ситуация кардинально меняется, и образ королевы в свою пользу трактует уже правительство тори. Поэтому можно говорить, что репрезентация королевы в Ирландии легко превращалась в рупор партийной пропаганды.
