После халифата: какое будущее ждет ИГИЛ?

Потеря террористической группировкой ИГИЛ контролируемых ею территорий в Ираке и Сирии значительно ослабила потенциал экстремистов, однако не означает победы над ними. Группировка демонстрирует способность адаптироваться к новым условиям, переходит к использованию новой тактики (диверсионно-партизанская деятельность, теракты и т.д.). Сохранение нестабильности в зоне конфликта вызывает опасения относительно возможности возрождения ИГИЛ и даже некоторого реванша (в том числе захват территорий). Кроме того, существует вероятность перетекания боевиков “Исламского государства” в различные регионы мира – как в конфликтные зоны (Афганистан, Йемен, Ливия и т.д.), так и в другие страны (в том числе европейские). Существует угроза возвращения боевиков-иностранцев, воевавших на стороне джихадистов, в страны их происхождения для проведения подрывной и террористической деятельности, а также формирования “спящих” ячеек “автономного джихада”.
