Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of current economic situation in Brazil, sums up two years of M.Temer administration and gives estimation of prospects of economic development of the country until the year 2023. Special attention is given to the key problems facing the new President in the next 4 years in the financial and economic sphere: balancing the State budget and the reduction of public debt, pension and tax reforms, promotion of investment and the implementation of infrastructure projects. The article discusses the results of privatization, held in Brazil in 2017-2018.
