Abstract

The material analyzes the monograph of E.V. Astakhova "Spain as a metaphor." The undoubted merits of this research are marked: a successful choice of the topic, a thoughtful structure, a variety of plots, a good manner of presenting the material. At the same time, attention is drawn to certain annoying shortcomings, which, nevertheless, do not detract from the dignity of the book, which will undoubtedly contribute to Russian spanish studies.
