Аннотация

Экономическая деятельность многих современных государств связана с созданием и функционированием особых экономических зон (ОЭЗ). Они рассматриваются в качестве таких эффективных инструментов развития национальной экономики, как создание рабочих мест, рост экспорта, привлечение иностранных инвестиций, передача технологий и кадровая политика. ОЭЗ в латиноамериканском регионе имеют более чем вековую историю развития, но именно в 2000-х годах произошли заметные изменения их роли в экономиках отдельных государств. В статье выявляются особенности создания и функционирования ОЭЗ в Латинской Америке, а также определяются ключевые направления трансформации экономик некоторых стран региона с целью привлечения иностранных инвестиций в ОЭЗ.
