Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of new paradigms of Ibero-American culture in the context of virtual reality that arose as a result of the transformation of traditional society into digital. Special attention is paid to the problem of digital identity in the modern world and, in particular, in Iberian and Latin American countries. The author examines the phenomenon of media culture and its perception by different generations. The examples of Spain, Portugal and Argentina show the main features and the degree of inclusion in the virtual space of the inhabitants of these countries. The positive and negative aspects of the Internet and other social networks are revealed. At the end of the article, the author gives a brief forecast regarding the future of virtual reality and Internet culture and their interaction with traditional forms of culture, extrapolating the current situation for the future.
