Abstract

The article examines the trends in international trade in services in 2005-2018, the reasons for the weakening position of Latin-Caribbean America (LСA) in the global service market. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the main segments: transport, tourism, as well as commercial services, stimulated by the development of telecommunications, computer and information technologies. Successful examples of LСA countries in export of professional services, including education, health care, provision of offshore business services are given.
