Abstract

Annotation. Horacio Walpole (1717—1797) was one of that young aristocracy’s and gentry’s sons who after graduated public schools and universities became Parliamentary members. Horace was single out his contemporaries not only by his father’s influence in political and state life during more than thirty years; but his talents and intellect. He was interested in various doings from writings pamphlets, essays in journals, publishing journal and mystic play. For his descendants he was the author of the history of the reign of George II and vast correspondence with his natives, friends and other contemporaries which became annals of political, intellectual and cultural history of Britain.
