Abstract

The article examines the approaches of I.O. Krasnova to the definition and content of state environmental policy on the basis of constitutional provisions. The scientific concept of I.O. Krasnova, set out in her book, encourages the reader to see new aspects in the study of the Russian Constitution and to highlight the main features of state policy in the field of environmental development. Of particular interest is the definition of the legal concept of “state environmental policy”. Some significant characteristics of this policy are currently directly enshrined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation, others have been developed in the science of Environmental Law.
