Abstract

The review of the All-Russian “Round Table” held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the topic “Russian statehood and challenges of the XXI century”, dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation, is given. The event was attended by scientists from the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Legis-lation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, the teaching staff of Lomonosov Moscow State University, of Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSLA), employees of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and others.

The main issues of the “Round Table” were the trends in the development of the Russian state at the present stage, the challenges of the XXI century and the problems of transformation of the state and law, the tasks of preserving the spiritual and cultural foundations of the legal system of Russia and many others.
