Abstract

The article analyzes the literature on the legal nature of the embryo. The author concludes that it is necessary to introduce a scientifically based classification of embryos according to the genetic affiliation of the germ cells (oocyte, sperm) used in the production of embryos, as well as to consolidate this classification at the legislative level. This classification will ensure a balance of interests of the parties who have applied to a medical organization for obtaining medical care for the treatment of infertility
