Abstract

The article deals with the nature of legal science and the methodology of cognition of law. The contribution of representatives of neo-Kantian philosophy to the formulation and solution of these problems is shown. It is noted that methodological pluralism in theoretical and legal sciences is due to their dialogical nature and the presence of a worldview component in them. The necessity of using genetic and systematic methods of studying political and legal phenomena on an equal footing is substantiated by the fundamental jurisprudence
