Abstract

The invasion of Nazi Germany in Poland in 1939 was the beginning of World War II. The conditions that made this possible are still a subject of disputes among politicians and scientists. The arguments used are the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact and the secret Protocol for it. The author of this article in its first part analyzes the unusual circumstances in which these acts appeared, as well as additional sources
