Abstract

Compared in the paper are the subjects of philosophy and of theory of law (of the theory of state and of law), their structural elements, and, to a certain degree, the methods and principles of these sciences and academic disciplines, as well as some concepts of law and of its attributes offered by various philosophers and theoreticians of law, their studies into the correlation between morale and law. Used in the paper are some monographs, scholarly articles, and textbooks by a number of modern law theoreticians and philosophers from Russia, Ukraine, UK, Germany, Holland and Canada.
