Abstract

The article examines the impact of changes in the volume of claims and the subject composition of participants in civil proceedings on the distribution of court costs. The article considers the content of the concept of “abuse of law” in law enforcement practice concerning the distribution of court costs in the event of changes in the volume of claims. The article analyzes judicial practice related to the right of co-defendants and third parties to recover court costs, as well as their obligations to reimburse court costs of other persons. The author concludes that it is necessary to include provisions concerning the distribution of court costs in the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
