Abstract

The article substantiates the need to develop standards for the provision of qualified legal assistance, which cover the requirements for obtaining access to the profession, as well as to the implementation of the activity itself. Historically, such standards have emerged as a result of the long-term development of public relations in the field of relations between the state, civil society and individual citizens, which is why different forms of standards for the provision of qualified legal assistance, including free of charge, are gradually being developed. The latter were issued by different government entities, taking into account the needs of particular population groups and the need to implement international and national (constitutional) guarantees of the right to judicial protection (law courts) for all interested parties. Argued that the development standards of the qualified legal aid should be based on international legal instruments and taking into account positive international experience in this area.
