This article assesses the Federal Law adopted by the state Duma of the Russian Federation on the participation of representatives of employees in meetings of the collegial management body of the organization with the right of Advisory vote through the prism of domestic experience of legal regulation of relevant relations. The author examines the Soviet and Russian legislation and comes to the conclusion that during the restructuring of the command-administrative economy and the development of private property, employees lost influence over the management decisions of the legal entity, but now there is another trend, to a certain extent aimed at the revival of the standards of the socially oriented state proclaimed in the Soviet time, which are associated with the involvement of employees in the management of legal entities.
