About the nature and content of the foundation for the criminal case

The legislative definition of the concept "the basis for the initiation of criminal proceedings is considered. The study of different points of view concerning the analyzed concept indicates that there is no disagreement in the understanding of its essence. To such processuality include data (information, information) about the crime. At the same time, the pluralism of opinions regarding the content of the grounds for initiating a criminal case, as well as the logical analysis of the defining concept prove that the above-mentioned part 2 of article. 140 the code of criminal procedure of the Russian Federation the norm constructed as definition, actually isn't and can't be in this connection despite almost 60-year presence in the legislation needs change.
