Abstract

The review of the All-Russian “Round Table” magazines “State and Law”, “Legal policy and legal life”, “Bulletin of the Russian law Academy”, “Legal culture” on “Legal advantages: history and modernity”, dedicated to the anniversary of the honored worker of the higher school of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Law, Professor Alexander S. Mordovets, which took place on June 28, 2018 in the Saratov state law Academy. The relevance of the publication of the materials of the “Round Table” is due to the importance of the research of the Institute of legal advantages and the practice of its implementation in modern society.

The purpose of the “Round Table” is to analyze the diverse aspects of legal advantages through the historical prism and features of modern legal regulation. The participants of the round table discussed the ideology of equality and the determinants of legal advantages in society and the state. The participants presentations substantiate the role and importance of various legal advantages in the legal system of society, provide both critical comments and new proposals for the development of the theory and practice of legal advantages.
