Abstract | In February 2021, the Belarusian government announced a number of new highlights in its foreign policy. During the All-Belarusian Assembly, Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei spoke in favor of renouncing the commitment to neutrality stipulated in the constitution. As a result of the Sochi meeting of Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, the parties returned to the development of "roadmaps" to deepen integration in the Union State. In an exclusive interview with Eurasia.Expert, Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, analyzed how the constitutional reform in Belarus and the new round of integration talks will affect the future of Russian-Belarusian relations. |
