Семья как фактор высоких образовательных достижений школьников в странах Азии

Международные исследования качества образования (PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS) неизменно подтверждают превосходство образовательных успехов школьников из ряда азиатских стран в сравнении с западными сверстниками, что отчасти объясняется специфичной образовательной культурой в регионе, построенной на социальных условиях и национальных традициях. Важным ретранслятором этой культуры является семья. Данная статья на примере Японии, Китая и Сингапура характеризует образовательный потенциал семьи в азиатской культуре на основе антропо-культурологического подхода, обосновывая решающее значение влияния родителей на образовательные достижения их детей.
