Аннотация

Основой исследования стали многосторонние военные альянсы в АТР второй половины ХХ в. (СЕАТО, АНЗЮК, АНЗЮС). Потребность в оценке ретроспективы развития многостороннего союзничества западных держав в АТР обусловлена современной динамикой трансформирующейся «традиционной» модели военного сотрудничества для определения необходимости создания нового военно-политического альянса – AUKUS, а также необходимостью анализа формирующейся системы «нового» баланса сил между США и КНР.

По итогам проведенного исследования сделан вывод о том, что появление нового военно-политического союза AUKUS определено эволюционной необходимостью развития системы военно-политического союзничества в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе (АТР), продиктованной потребностью западных держав (прежде всего США) выстроить более эффективную систему союзов, призванную обеспечить реальный вес в политике балансирования западных демократий в ответ на современные вызовы в пределах АТР, путем реорганизации и трансформации устаревшей, не отвечающей современным угрозам модели коалиций.
