Влияние сирийского конфликта на армянскую общину Сирии

Аннотация

В статье рассматривается положение армянской общины Сирии до начала конфликта в 2011 г., а также выявляются его основные последствия для жизни общины. Несмотря на то, что в условиях войны большая часть сирийских армян была вынуждена покинуть страну, а оставшиеся в Сирии армяне жили в тяжелейших условиях, все же благодаря действиям самой общины, а также помощи армянских организаций, на сегодняшний день ей удалось сохранить свои структурно-организационные основы, которые продолжали функционировать даже в период конфликта.
