Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the Venezuelan crisis in the framework of the Latin American integration, as a factor that threatens ideas of the "Bolivarian Revolution", aimed at fighting the "western" development model imposed from the outside. The paper studies the evolution of the "Bolivarian Revolution" project as an instrument of achieving the construction of a strong state, guarantor of observance of human rights, protection of national interests. The economic crisis and the difficult domestic political situation, the loss of allies in the international arena characterize the tough period in the formation of the Bolivarian project of the "third way" for Latin America. The article deals with the key social-political events that occurred before the March 2019.
