Abstract

Based on the processing of space survey data and analysis of geological geophysical materials, the criteria for the localization of gold deposits within the Ayan-Yuryakhsky anticlinorium in the Magadan region have been revealed. The structural elements revealed during decoding are represented by linear, arc, circular, zonalconcentric lineaments of the fi rst (11–35 km), second (5–10 km) and third (less than 5 km) rank. The ring structures of the second and third rank form linearly elongated chains confi ned to the latent linear structures of the north-western and north-north-eastern stretch. Gold deposits are localized in the central or peripheral parts of the ring structures of the second rank at the intersection of the latter by regional sub-latitude faults. The area of the Pavlik deposit has a block structure caused by the dominating faults of the north-western stretch, complicated by faults of the north-eastern and meridional stretch, as well as arc structural elements. When predicting ore prospecting sites, it is necessary to take into account the regularities of localization of ore occurrences of gold, established according to the results of gravimetric and gamma-survey.
