Abstract

The article presents the results of a series of initiative developments of topical legal issues by a group of young legal scientists of the Institute of legislation and comparative law under the Government of the Russian Federation under the leadership of Prof. Yu. a. Tikhomirov. The originality of the research lies in the use of a new approach to the analysis of changing and multi-vector legal reality. It is based on the following main provisions: 1) the turn of the theory of law to the study of real socio-economic, environmental and other processes, to identify contradictions in legislation, to assess the reasons for inaction of normative legal acts; 2) the intersectoral nature of research, which allows overcoming excessive specialization and some conservatism of thinking of specialists working in different branches of law and contributes to complex decisions and actions for the implementation of national goals and projects;·3) system analysis of the dynamics of the correlation between national and international law; 4) complexity, which makes it possible to organically combine law research in the context of using the achievements of other social Sciences – philosophical, economic, political science, sociological and psychological.
