Abstract

The principle of freedom of labor is considered, its content and implementation at the current stage are analyzed. The specific features of “Industry 4.0” are identified and discussed in the context of their influence on the principle of freedom of labor in particular and labor relations in general. Possible measures to protect people from being forced out of the labor market by robotic workers are considered in detail, their list, classification, content, their positive and negative aspects are given. The conclusion is made about how the principle of freedom of labor is being transformed in the digital age.
