Abstract

The article is a review of reports and discussions of the participants of the academic conference “The nature of Russian criminal procedure and the principle of adversarial proceedings: to the 125th anniversary of M.S. Strogovich birthday”. The conference was organized by the Department of criminal procedure, justice and prosecutorial supervision of Lomonosov Moscow state University and took place on the 24 - 25 of October 2019. The participants discussed the matters of the principle of adversarial proceedings, the material truth, the presumption of innocence and the differentiation of criminal procedure form.
