A review of the materials of the "Round Table" of the journals "State and Law", "Legal policy and legal life" and "Law Enforcement" on "Legal policy in modern Russia: actual problems of theory and practice", held at the faculty of law of Dostoevsky Omsk state University. The high degree of relevance of the round table topic was noted, as well as the positive aspects of the interdisciplinary nature of research in the field of legal policy: the study of problems at the intersection of jurisprudence, political science and sociology allows to overcome dogmatism and provide a wide range of issues.
