Abstract

Bisulphate technology is promising to create closed cyclic technologies of processing of alumina-containing raw materials with the recovery of reagents. To implement it, a rational method for separating ammonium bisulphate into sulphate and sulphuric acid in each cycle is necessary. The possibility of such a separation was shown, for the first time, with the real samples of technological solutions.  The modified Acid Retardation method based on the sieve effect in a nano-porous media, in particular on a strongly basic gel type anion exchanger, was used. The proposed method allows solving the problem of reagent recuperation in some industrial technologies and can be used to create new technologies for processing other types of ores.
