Аннотация

В статье рассматривается охватывающий многие десятилетия опыт изменений школьного образования в США, прежде всего опыт введения стандартов базовых знаний. Учитывая интерес российской общественности к тестированию знаний выпускников средней школы, статья способствует ознакомлению российской общественности с неоднозначным зарубежным опытом США, который представляется полезным
