States and international organizations: rethinking the concept of sovereignty

Interaction of states and international organizations in world order on the basis of Rule of Law has necessitated renewed discussions of the problem of state sovereignty in the early XXI century.

The analysis of the texts of basic laws (constitutions) of a number of member-states of certain international organizations, as well as the contemporary doctrine of international law, makes it possible for the author to draw the conclusion about the transfer by state of part of one’s powers to the international organization. Meanwhile, the author justifies the impossibility of the transfer of state sovereignty to the international organization.
